Earlier this month CCHS hosted its second annual fall festival, also known as Lunapalooza. There were many festivities, including face painting, a student run bake sale, and a silent auction. The student council also sold school t-shirts and hoodies. CCHS teachers were on hand to meet with parents and gave short demonstrations of the TI Inspire calculators and the new SpringBoard ELA curriculum. As parents circulated around E Building, our new principal Mr. Todd Resch greeted parents and talked with students.

Like last year, our silent auction was a huge hit with many families and CCHS supporters donating items for resale. Over thirty items were sold including coffee gift baskets, eyeglass frames, and art that was made by students. During our silent auction, parents, teachers and CCHS supporters generously bid on the items and nearly $800 was raised! As with last year’s silent auction, 100% of the money raised will be used in support of student activities.

If you didn’t get a chance to snag a CCHS hoodie or t-shirt they are still available for sale. Talk to Ms. Bielek or Ms. Ladd if you would like to purchase one.

Thank you to all the parents, students, and staff who helped make Lunapalooza a success!
